Slide into the weekend with a couple of hours away from the festive bustle by getting creative at our last macramé class of the year, making some fun Christmas decorations. We'll make at least three ornaments and, in a relaxed and friendly small group, you'll learn the basic macramé knots that will enable you to easily continue this wonderful, mindful craft after the workshop. In previous workshops we've made snowflakes, angels, Christmas tree garlands and Scandi-inspired mini wreath ornaments. The exact decoration line up for this workshop is yet to be finalised as I develop new patterns, but they'll be along similar lines and I'll update this listing once they're confirmed. You'll learn several macramé knots and I'll show you how you can adapt the decorations to make other designs yourself. There will also be plenty of scope for you to add your own flourishes. I keep the designs simple to learn so that you'll be able to make them with children and grandchildren at home. In addition you'll learn about different styles of macramé cord which can be used to achieve different effects in your future projects. The workshop lasts two hours and it'll be a small group so everyone can get all the support they need. The price includes all materials, tuition, refreshments and plenty of festive cheer!
