Same knots, two designs for you to choose from! Learn the beautiful fibre art of macramé by making an on-trend wall hanging in in this workshop for beginners, refreshers and improvers. I’ve designed the wall hanging as a kind of sampler, so that over the course of the three-hour workshop you’ll learn and practice the five basic macramé knots that are the gateway to exploring this mindful craft and creating your own wonderful pieces at home. I’ll guide you with step-by step instructions so that you can take home a finished piece that you’re proud of. You'll see how, by using the same knots in a variety of ways can produce wildly different results and there will be scope for you to freestyle a little if you're feeling confident. Spaces in this macramé class are limited to six so that everyone can work at their own pace and I can give everyone the individual help they need. Losing yourself in the rhythm of the knotting is incredibly relaxing and therapeutic, and allows your mind to settle to one thing; a break from the day to day constant juggle.
